What you are mixing. It arrives as a dry cake in the bottom of the vial.

A vial of bacteriostatic water

BAC water (bacteriostatic water for injection)

Usually a 30 mL vial

Water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol, used for mixing some products. Check your product's instructions: it is not interchangeable with every mixing liquid, and it does not establish how long a mixed vial will keep.

Move liquid between vials using the mixing syringe. Some syringe packs include needles; check before buying a separate pack.

Check your exact pen model before buying cartridges and needles. Keep any transfer equipment required by its instructions on your supply list too.

Check the model with your provider before buying the rest of the kit. Its markings, dose limit and allowed cartridges matter. Do not refill a disposable pen.
